Tina Kraft

Tina Kraft earned an MFA in painting from The New York Studio School in 2012. She is a former painting instructor at The Armory Art Center and a visiting instructor at the Lighthouse Art Center. She has travelled and worked in Italy, France and the Bahama Islands, but most of her time is spent working from the Florida landscape where she lives. Her paintings are inspired by working directly from nature and reflect an intimate response to its mysterious abstraction. She begins her painting process by drawing or painting from masterworks of art to discover their magical content, and then incorporates her discoveries of them into her own work. Her paintings are in private collections here in Palm Beach and have been included in various solo and group shows in New York, California, and Florida.
