Fused Glass Classes

Spring Session: March 1-April 24, 2021 (8 weeks). No class April 2nd or 3rd for the Easter holiday.

Mondays

Intro to Fused Glass

In this 8-week session, you will learn the basics of glass fusion using a wide variety of glass materials and tools.  We will then use these skills to create one-of-a-kind glass art works. You will walk away with the knowledge to move on to more advanced classes. Please wear closed-toed shoes, comfortable clothes, and an apron. All students are required to wear a mask; if you don't have one we will supply.
All levels welcome.

Modeling Glass Creations

Modeling glass and a wide variety of other glass elements will be the focus of this 4-week class to create a beautiful piece of fused glass for display or functional use.  This unique technique is sure to get your creativity flowing. You will learn how to use glass powders in a variety of colors to form one-of-a-kind designs to use in your project.  Please wear closed-toed shoes, comfortable clothes, and an apron. All students are required to wear a mask; if you don't have one, we will supply.

Kiln-Formed Crackle Powders & Creating with Vitrigraph

Bring in Spring with new, exciting techniques in glass fusion. The first 2 weeks, we will work with powders and glass to create a unique look in your glass project with a wafer and crackle effect. The second 2 weeks, we will work with Vitrigraph glass, creating your own unique stringers to add to your glass bowls, dishes, and wall art. Both are sure to amaze you! Please wear closed-toed shoes, comfortable clothes, and an apron. All students are required to wear a mask; if you don't have one, we will supply.
