Unrestricted gifts give us the flexibility to act where support is needed most, from unexpected needs to new opportunities. It's one of the most powerful ways to give.

Full and partial scholarships open our classes, workshops, and Summer ArtCamp to students of all ages from low- and moderate-income households. Your gift makes sure cost is never the reason someone can't create.

Art for All brings art to everyone through tuition assistance, community outreach, programs for specific groups, take-home art kits, and opportunities for artists to grow. Your gift supports all of it, helping remove the barriers of cost, distance, and circumstance.

Exhibitions and events give artists a place to share their work and give our community the chance to see new art, discover new techniques, and connect through culture. Your gift helps keep our galleries welcoming to everyone.

Making a planned gift to Lighthouse ArtCenter is a way to affect the world after we are gone. It is a way of saying, "this is who I was, this is what I cared about, and this is my way of leaving the world a better place than when I came."

“Very few of us will be written up in history books,” says Susan Namm Spencer, Lighthouse ArtCenter board member, and donor. “We will be remembered by family and friends. Making a planned gift to Lighthouse ArtCenter is a way to affect the world after we are gone. It is a way of saying, this is who I was, this is what I cared about, and this is my way of leaving the world a better place than when I came.”

Through her planned gift, Susan wants to ensure that Lighthouse ArtCenter will continue to serve the community and care for the people who are often forgotten. “We all fear mortality,” Susan notes, “but to know that we can leave something important and special from our time here is to have a little bit of immortality and meaning beyond our own lives.”
