From January 26-March 20 at our gallery, immerse yourself in Ethical Metalsmiths' innovative community mining project,
Radical Jewelry Makeover, and purchase a truly one-of-a-kind work of art!
Radical Jewelry Makeover relies on local “mines" - donated jewelry, which has been de-constructed to the original components, and reconstructed into wearable works of art. Completed jewelry sold through the Lighthouse ArtCenter will generate program funds and raise awareness.

Donations
2020 has been a challenging year.  The COVID-19 pandemic has affected every aspect of our lives.  The Lighthouse ArtCenter is taking all necessary precautions to make sure that our staff stays healthy, and we hope that you and your loved ones are healthy and safe as well.
The Lighthouse ArtCenter is adjusting to the changes and is focusing on our forward-looking mission.  We’ve ushered in new programs and processes, such as an adaptation of LAC classes and programs which facilitate interactive, live-streamed virtual sessions and the creation of  “ArtCamp in a Box." These will continue after we resume in-studio classes and gatherings.
In light of funding cutbacks and uncertainties, we have developed an exciting modernization plan to better serve our community.   As Phase I of our grand “Raising the Roof” initiative, the reconfiguration will launch the transition toward the second floor expansion, which remains our long-range goal and will resume when conditions permit.  Phase I is about to begin and will include three additional classroom studios and virtual learning technologies in all classrooms. Phase I is slated to be completed in time for the holidays.
In these difficult times, the Lighthouse is directing our efforts and resources toward enhancing our cultural offerings for our constituents in new and innovative ways. The needs of our community are many, and art is a vital and therapeutic part.
We ask that you continue to support our mission.  Large or small, your giving makes a difference in the lives of so many.
