First Friday at the School of Art

A monthly event for young local artists, musicians and craftspeople
 

First Friday is a monthly event where young adults (local artists, craftspeople, musicians and surfers) meet up to share ideas and artistic inspiration. Local artists are invited to show and demonstrate their work. Painters, ceramists, graffiti artists, film and digital photographers, bonsai artists, jewelry makers, screen printers, fine wood workers, local musical talent and so many others are on hand to create interesting, not-to-be-missed events. The goal of this event is to enthuse our young community members in the arts and ignite their creativity! 

First Friday is brought to you in partnership with MAS Threads (A Passion for Music, Art and Surf Culture). MAS Threads is owned by Denver Mayo, who creates custom screen printing.
