HGTV's Cash in the Attic Star Returned to Lighthouse Center for the Arts
August 15 & 16, 2008

The Lighthouse Center for the Arts, in conjunction with The Palm Beach Post, presented a two-day event featuring Tim Luke, star of HGTV's top-rated series Cash in the Attic. On Friday, August 15, Tim joined us at a Season Sneak Peek cocktail reception and gave a behind-the-scenes look at some "freaky finds" from his popular show. Also on that evening, Tim held a lively "mini auction" to benefit the Lighthouse Center for the Arts. Guests bid on the opportunity to be an appraiser for a day as Tim's shadow, have a private one-hour home appraisal with Tim as well as be a guest at a private brunch with Tim in an incredible antique-filled home, among other items.    What It's Worth Appraisal Day: On Saturday, August 16, Tim and his appraiser colleagues conducted on-the-spot appraisals of items that visitors brought to the Lighthouse Center for the Arts. ($20 per item; three items for $50). At Tim's recent appraisal events, hundreds have lined up for this great opportunity!
