Third Annual D’ART for ART!
Saturday, November 14, 2009
6:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
SEE PHOTOS FROM THE EVENT>>

Everyone is a winner at this event! In early November, our galleries were filled with outstanding artwork donated by artists and collectors. In order to “D’Art for Art” on November 14, each ticketed guest that evening was assigned the name of a famous artist. When the famous artist’s name was called in a random drawing, guests darted to claim a piece of art. Guests had the cocktail and dinner hours to scout out their favorite pieces. The pace became increasingly frenzied as the night progressed and choices became limited
.

Our Mistress of Ceremonies was Kathy Greene, Program Director and Host at Jupiter's WJTW 100.3 FM Radio. A Jupiter native, Kathy began her career in Washington, D.C., working in the world of politics before returning to South Florida. Kathy grew up in a radio family and wears many hats at the radio station, including producing and hosting Take Five, Cameos of Florida History and the Afternoon Show on Fridays.

The Lighthouse Center for the Arts' D'Art for Art is much more than just a big party. Remember that all proceeds benefit the Center's year-round programs including exhibitions, concerts, lectures, Artbridge outreach programs and ArtAbound Summer Camp.
