Bra-Vo!
Artists designing bras for the fight against breast cancer 

The Lighthouse Center for the Arts hosted Bra-Vo, an exhibition and auction to help support the fight against breast cancer. The event was held in honor of our very own Evelyne Bates, who battled and won her breast cancer fight in 2008.

A portion of the museum galleries were dedicated to a collection of 49 amazing "ArtBras" created by the artists in our community. The bras were on display in partnership with the American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer research mission.  At the conclusion of the exhibition, the bras were auctioned off and the proceeds will benefit breast cancer reserach.
